Laurell spent her entire life looking for a fight. Born to a wealthy Atlanta family in the decade following the Civil War. She believed (rightly) that women deserved the right to vote, that they receive the same rights and privilege. Unfortunately, she also became enamored with the romantic notion of violent revolution and “Propaganda of the Deed”. She even attempted to contact Johann Most when she heard that he’d come to the America’s but the Anarchist Scientist had no patients for “Debutants playing at Revolution”.

He wasn’t the only one who read her letters though. One of his assistants was bound to a local Carthian agitator and he sent the missives to an ally in Atlanta. The Revolutionary, a Shadow called Carol Krenshaw, had her embraced almost immediately, seeing a potent tool for the movement.

Laurell took to the embrace quickly, exalting in her nature as one of the undead.

She’s also finally found a cause.

She will end the Kindred practice of obstructing mortal events… of the creation and enslavement of ghouls… even if that means freeing Ghouls by freeing them from their half-damned state.

Long live the Anti-Obstructionist Army, Long Live the Revolution.
